About Face Theatre is proud to present the Chicago premiere of THE PRIDE, June 6 – July 13, 2013 at Victory Gardens’ Richard Christiansen Theater. Set in London, Alexi Kaye Campbell’s time-shifting play THE PRIDE is a sharp, witty portrait of urban gay couples and the punishing consequences of liberation.

JESSIE FISHER (Sylvia) is thrilled to be working with About Face for the first time. Chicago credits include: 33 Variations with TimeLine, SS! Taming of the Shrew with Chicago Shakespeare,Cloud Nine with the Gift, The Original Grease, Its a Wonderful Life, Speed the Plow at American Theatre Company, Of Mice and Men at Steppenwolf, Frankenstein and Cabaretwith The Hypocrites (Jeff Award), These Shining Lives with Rivendell and My Name is Rachel Corrie with Purple Bench. She has also worked with Lookingglass, Chicago Children’s Theatre, Noble Fool, Profiles and Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Television credit: Boss (Starz). She teaches with Black Box Acting Studio and has trained at the School at Steppenwolf. Jessie is represented by Paonessa Talent Agency.
