Meet the Cast of THE PRIDE: Benjamin Sprunger
About Face Theatre is proud to present the Chicago premiere of THE PRIDE, June 6 – July 13, 2013 at Victory Gardens’ Richard Christiansen Theater. Set in London, Alexi Kaye Campbell’s time-shifting play THE PRIDE is a sharp, witty portrait of urban gay couples and the punishing consequences of liberation.
In celebration of this play and Pride Month, we’re bringing you the bios of the amazing cast and crew of THE PRIDE over the next couple of weeks. We hope you enjoy getting to know them!
BENJAMIN SPRUNGER (Man, Doctor, Peter) most recently appeared as a grieving father, a rockabilly rat, and a teddy bear sheriff in House Theatre of Chicago’s Nutcracker. Other Chicago credits include 16th Street, Goodman, Strawdog, TimeLine, LiveWire, Steppenwolf, Griffin, Steep, Pegasus, CityLit, and Bailiwick. In Los Angeles, Ben worked with Mark Taper Forum, Pasadena Playhouse, and The Blank among others.
