Touch Tour and Audio Description – A Strange Loop – 25 October 2026
October 25 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Sunday, October 25th The Touch Tour starts at 1:30pm for the 3:00pm performance.
This event is free for same-day ticketholders, advance reservations required by contacting the box office.
The Touch Tour is designed for blind & low-vision patrons, offering an opportunity to build a sensory connection to the production primarily through sound and touch. These tours are especially important because Raven doesn’t currently offer audio-described performances.
At 2:00pm (30-min before regular call), actors are welcome to meet us on-stage and tell patrons about themselves and their characters. Patrons will want to hear:
- Actor name and appearance (whatever you’re comfortable sharing — height, age, build, hair style, skin tone, clothes, tattoos, jewelry, etc)
- Character name, appearance, and how they move through the world
- A few lines of text in the character’s voice
- Patrons ask the actors questions
- One of our patrons will likely also ask if you’ve been in any other Chicago shows recently
Introductions will take 15 minutes.
